After 26 years in real estate, I’ve learned that buying or selling a home is rarely just about the house. There’s usually a bigger story behind it — a growing family, a new job, a move across the country, a home that no longer fits, or simply the feeling that it’s time for something different.

My job is to make whatever comes next feel a little easier.

I’ve spent my career helping buyers and sellers throughout Green Bay, De Pere and Northeast Wisconsin navigate those decisions with honest advice, local knowledge and a level of personal service that doesn’t end when the papers are signed.

In fact, most of my business today comes from past clients, repeat clients and referrals — something I’m incredibly proud of. Many of the people I’ve helped over the years have become friends, and I’ve had the privilege of helping their children, parents, friends and coworkers, too.

I believe great real estate service is in the details. It’s answering the phone when you’re worried about an inspection. It’s knowing who to call when something needs to be fixed. It’s helping you prepare your home so it shows its best, marketing it in a way that gets noticed, negotiating fiercely when it matters, and sometimes simply being the calm voice in the middle of a stressful day.

I also believe experience should never mean doing things the way they’ve always been done. Real estate has changed tremendously since I started — from handwritten contracts on carbon copy paper to digital signatures, professional video, social media and technology that allows us to market a home in ways we never could before. I’ve changed right along with it, while holding onto the part of this business that matters most to me: taking really good care of people.

I’m proud of the business I’ve built and the relationships behind it.

Because to me, closing day has never been the end of the story.

It’s the beginning of a relationship.
